Debra A Bourne, MD is a board certified hand surgeon. She earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. She completed her plastic surgery residency at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh Medical Center which is consistently ranked among the top training programs in the country. She then completed additional fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery.
Dr. Bourne is an accomplished medical researcher. Her research is published in lead journals including HAND and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. She has won numerous research awards at the regional and national level. She is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons where she is active in committee service. She specializes in treating the hand and wrist, soft tissue injuries, and nerve disorders. Her passion is to provide the best possible care for each patient; helping patients return to doing what they love.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
